L'uomo d'oro.


... attrazione principale del Museo Centrale Statale di Storia, e' l'Uomo Dorato, o meglio, la ricostruzione degli abiti e dei gioielli rinvenuti non distante dalla citta' di Almaty, appartenuti ad un guerriero nomade. Il guerriero, insieme alla mela e al ghepardo delle nevi, e' simbolo della citta' ex-capitale kazaka. Visto che e' importante conoscere... vi riporto un temino di una bambina di quinta elementare, che descrive in modo semplice e chiaro la storia di questo Uomo Dorato.

(per chi non sa l'inglese... provi ad immaginarsi una storia qualsiasi con un protagonista guerriero nobile che muore e viene ricoperto d'oro... poi lo ritrovano e... ci costruiscono un museo intorno...)

The gold man excavated in the Issyk kurgan near Alma-Ata. It had not been touched, enabling us define the regalia and symbols of power among the ancient nomads. The Issyk hyrgan is a single monument of its kind. The "Issyk chieftine" was buried in gala of ritual attire. He wore a thin, evidently silk shirt, a short coat (kamzol), narrow breeches of red suede and high boats without heels. His heavy belt was composed of east plaques in the shape of a fantastic stag and elks heads. On his head, the chieft ain wore a high conical three-sides hat-hulak. Round his neck he had a gold torque with three loops, its ends fashion in the form of tigers heads. On the finger of his right were two ring: one with a mirror, the other with portrait in profile of a man radiate crown. Near the left shoulder of the deceased lay a symbolic staff with a gold knob and a whip wound with a gold band. On the right fastened a felt red wooden sheath was a sword of the type used by warrios fighting on hors back; on the left, was a iro n dagger in a sheath with plagues in the form of an elk and a horse. Its pommel in the shade of twin-headed griffin is overlaid with gold leaf and the blade is encrusted with plaque depicting various wild animals. The encrustations on the dagger are skilfully executed. The blood groves are overlaid with gold plagues depicting boars, leopards, hares, goats, wolfs, saigaks, djeirans, foxes and snakes following one another. Gold man - it is a great history of kazakh people.
